In the late Neolithic Age, indigenous ancestors in Zhongzhou lived along the banks of the Ganjing River to collect salt brine. Due to their own hard work and wisdom, they have created a unique method of pottery salt-distilling, and gradually formed a specific Zhongba Culture which marks the beginning of a history that has been lasting five thousand years.
